These photos taken 7 December 2008

We went up to Goldhill on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Dianne took treats (aka hot dogs) and they gobbled them down and were looking for more. Apollo is just Apollo, serene, content, and not too excitable, although this photog is real careful when getting closeups, Apollo just may not have wanted the age lines to be shown.

Merlin was forced to be sociable, Mark stood in front of his escape cave and would not let him in. Thus your see the out of focus limbs and dust from his trips around the pen. I relented and told Mark that we had upset the social order enough and to let him in, and he quickly disappeared. These shots, even out of focus, still show the magnificent animal he is growing into. Just look at the development in his hind quarters and those front legs, this guy can run all day long. Maybe we should call him ' Marathon Merlin '!!

The new resident, Zoya was ready for some play, as is seen here with Dianne, she too quickly disposed of the treats and was ready for more but soon accepted some grooming strokes from Dianne and was content with her introduction into the "human pack" as well. A wonderful day was had by all!!
