I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the nearly 22,000 visitors over the last 12 years who have so generously donated either material, food, labor and/or money to help Rocky Mountain Wildlife Foundation become what it is today, a permanent, loving and caring home for unwanted and often abused wolves and wolfdogs.
A special thanks go to Don Frantz and Helen Quintana. Without their support we would have been unable to provide a home for 10 severely abused animals that had to rescued from another "rescue” facility. Their support has been the backbone of our organization for 12 years and for that we are extremely grateful.
Special thanks go to Rick and all of his staff at Ricks Big Game Processing in Canon City. The wolves are grateful for all the scrap meat and bones they get from you each week. They appreciate not having to chase after their meals anymore.
And now to Bill Betz and Vanessa Hess, I cannot begin to express the many thanks I owe to the two of you. If it was not for you giving a lifetime donation of the use of your land, the wolves would not have such a safe, beautiful and environmentally perfect home. The wolves now have a permanent place to live out their natural lives in peace and harmony. For this I am forever grateful. Vanessa thanks for all the computer work you do for us as well.
A special thank you must go to Tom and Mary Sander. It was their support that helped us through some extremely harsh and frustrating times while the sanctuary was located in Arizona. They were the ones who helped move us back to Colorado and build the new home for the wolves.
Special thanks go to my “brother” Mark Trotta and his wife Pat. Mark may be a desk jockey but he can dig a mean post hole. Pat is my number 1 wolf sitter and the wolves all appreciate the love and care you have given them.
A very special thanks goes to Dr. Annette Stumf of Annie’s Animal Clinic in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She was responsible for the care of my animals for almost 10 years and then helped us make the move to Arizona. All of the animals just loved her. Now that we are back in Colorado we look forward to seeing her again. Thanks Dr. Annette for the love and care you provided for all of my animals.
And last but not least, special thanks go to Jerry and Dianne Fowler. Jerry I know this was your first website but no professional could have done any better. And Dianne thanks for your suggestions and all the work you have done on brochures and fliers and for keeping Jerry’s nose to the grindstone.
